-PREPARE YOUR SKIN Use a gentle exfoliatiing product once or twice a week to remove the buildup of dead skin cells. Your face will show any dry or rough patches so it is best to try to smooth it ahead of time. Keep your skin well moisturized and use some moisturized mask for your skin once or twice a week.
Clean your face well on the morning of the wedding. And make sure before make-up you have already apply yours facial produce (lotion,moisture,sunblock..etc)
Bring a lip gloss or lipstick for touch-up after dinner.
-WAXING & FACIAL TREATMENT
If you do a facial treatment or wax any part of your face please do this at least 4 days to 1 week prior to the special occasion makeup application. It will take time to close the pores after waxing and makeup may not apply correctly if waxing is done within 4 days!
-NOT ENOUGH SLEEP
A late night can cause circles under your eyes to appear or become more prominent. This happens because lack of sleep tends to cause the blood vessels under the thin skin of the eyes to dilate, creating a dark tint. Remember to take it easy on the salt and drink water in between alcoholic drinks at the rehearsal dinner or fluids can build up under the skin and cause puffiness and swelling, creating bags under the eyes.
**A quick fix for dark circles: cooled tea bags underneath each eye for a few moments. The type of tea doesn’t matter - it’s the tannic acid in the tea leaves that encourages some of the fluid to retract and the blood vessels to shrink.
-ALLERGIES, SENSITIVITIES AND MASCARA
Please let me know if you have any allergies to any makeup products. You may bring your own make product (sponge,powder,mascara..etc) but make sure it’s waterproof!
